Dr. Shweta Iyer is currently completing a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at NYU Langone Health and will be starting as a pediatric emergency medicine attending at Weill Cornell in 2019.
Dr. Iyer attended Rutgers University Medical School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics at Cornell University.

Our mission is to provide compassionate medical care to refugees and vulnerable host communities. Our multi-disciplinary group of doctors from New York, Denver and Houston collaborate with international NGOs such as the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) to bring together a relief effort centered around health, prevention and education.
